Entirely in brass. The base of the bomb is bordered at the front and back by a band decorated with moldings of laurel branches at the front and oak at the back. Mobile visor stamped in relief with two crossed axes linked together by a ribbon framed with laurel branches. Neck cover surrounded by a rush folded astride its outer edge. Crest with fins stamped with nine gadroons with mask decorated with a flaming bomb, it is topped with a black horsehair caterpillar. Stamped brass front plate, representing a rooster placed on a terrestrial globe marked "Return to freedom 1830" and in a cartouche "Dedication", with the spindle of Jupiter in a claw and in the background a bundle of flags, branches of spiked vines of wheat (missing flag points). Brass chinstraps composed of two chin straps with rosette: each chin strap is composed of a brass plate stamped with scalloped scales in relief, mounted on leather, round rosette stamped with gadroons in relief. Plumet holder with square section decreasing towards the bottom, with tightening screw present.
In good general condition, I would like to point out that the canvas of the interior cover has been reconstituted.
