BREATHER troop model 1855 of cuirassier of the imperial guard of the Second Empire. Fitted shape at the waist, the busk of the bib is accentuated and the edge of the back is pronounced. The breastplate is garnished with 26 brass rivets and the back with 34. Each of the two straps has a body in black cowhide trimmed with two brass chains, the body is finished with a brass buttonhole plate with a leather tip heart-shaped (missing the heart-shaped leather on one strap). The strap holder is made of brass with 2 rivets missing, replaced, visible in photo No. 10. Leather belt with brass buckle missing on left side. Breastplate without marking, back signed Coulaux Klingenthal and dated 1855, with registration number 784. ABE condition with surface wear oxidation.
