Slightly convex cap, chased with radiating ribs leading to a small rivure button.
Long shank decorated with water leaves and a small medallion, frieze of twelve scallops.
Brown horn handle.
Finger joint with eyelet near the cap for passing the lanyard.
Shell chased with water leaves, an anchor and the imperial crown.
Dolphin-headed quillon.
Later shell with roped edge.
Blade signed "Coulaux et Cie Klinghental France" and control marks.
Leather scabbard with dorsal stitching, three brass fittings, cap with bordered mouthpiece, scallop shell button and bezel ring, adorned with the étalinguée anchor surmounted by the imperial crown.
Bouterolle decorated with water leaves and a scallop.
