Brass mounting, cap with laurel leaf border along the short shank.
Thirteen-groove handle in brown horn with copper wire filigree.
Rounded joint arch, three adjoining branches, rolled quillon, control marks.
Openwork top with carved rosette and plant motifs, stamped "6467".
Straight blade with central gutters, marked "Mre d'Armes de Châtt 8bre 1876 adjd d'Infrie Mle 1845", control marks, leather tie.
Iron scabbard with one bezel, stamped "6467", control marks.
