This romantic dagger, also called a dagger of virtue, is made of steel and gilded bronze worked in the round. The baluster fuse is topped with a bust portrait of a horned demon, the guard has a volute quillon, the crossguard is animated on a section of a round mirror and the scabbard is punctuated by four naked women presented in a lascivious manner, referring to the Four Witches.
The straight double-edged steel blade ends in a point.
