Originally from the Philippines, South.
Islamic Moro people. Punitive knife with straight blade.
Malay influence , steel blade , wooden scabbard with silver decoration , no hallmarks .
Both sides decorated with Islamic maiso scrolled vegetal motifs.
Late 19th century work.
In good condition , wear from use , slightly rusty blade , wooden scabbard with a crack on the side . See photos .
