    Iron fushi decorated with three trilobed leaves – one of which is copper, branches enhanced with gold, a silver flower bud and five probably heraldic motifs.

    Located between the handle (the tsuka) and the guard (the tsuba), the fushi serves as a reinforcement for the tsuka.
