    FOLDING KNIFE called Navaja
    Spain, late 19th century
    Horn, brass and iron
    Long. total open: 71.2 cm
    Long. closed: 39cm

    This large folding knife with a switchblade locking system has a straight iron blade with a single edge, pointed end and engraved with foliage scrolls in a cartouche. Traces of red pigmentation remain.
    The handle is in brown horn inlaid with brass rivets and has a long brass yoke with geometric incisions at its end.
    With its original ferrule.
