The kogai are in bronze, decorated with a saddle and accessories on a nanako background, and for the wakisashi, a bronze kozuka decorated with a saddle and accessories on a nanako background, with a signed blade (kogatana) adorned with a chrysanthemum, the imperial flower.
The tsuka are made of wood, covered with ray skin and braided with beige silk.
The menuki are embellished with gold and silver; they are animated by two samurai archers in armor. One of them, hidden behind a stone, wears an eboshi headdress and a tessen war fan.
