    Dagger with twisted fuse covered with braided steel wire, turned pommel ending in a button, straight quillon guard decorated en suite, crossguard signed "L. Chobert Arquebusier 16 rue Lafayette Paris".
    Double-edged steel blade, ending in a point with two grooves.
    Steel scabbard with bail.

    Léon Chobert was established as an arquebusier in Paris from 1860 to 1889 then in Saint-Etienne until 1931.
