Japan, Shòwa period, early 20th century.
Steel, wood, brass, copper, silver
Total length: 74.5cm - Barrel length: 46.5cm - Muzzle diameter: 13.5mm

Flanged steel barrel with mouthpiece and beads; front sight and rear sight. Long calligraphy on the underside. Decorated with a brass môn inlaid at thunder level.
Flat-bodied brass turntable. Basin decorated with cherry blossom and signed.
Mounted in Japanese oak, the reserves are consolidated with brass and the stock is decorated with a brass arrow.
Missing ramrod.

Good condition. The lock is complete, but will need to be overhauled to guarantee its operation.
