Tilting, round steel barrel with rifled bore and strong front sight. Loading lever underneath.
Six-chamber cylinder, operated without central axis, with gun number.
Double action system.
Closed frame, blued steel, marked: STARR. ARMS C°. NEW-YORK on one side and STARR'S PATENT JAN. on the other. 15. 1856, numbered 14411.
Military control marks J - G and F
Walnut stock with military inspectors' acceptance markings

Fine condition; 35% original blue; very clean barrel interior with deep scratches. Clean screw heads.
