Single-action six-shot revolver, caliber 11.1 mm. Eight-sided then round barrel, length 15.5 cm. Trigger under trigger guard. Barrel with side-moving loading door. Diamond-shaped cap with suspension ring. Walnut stock plates. The marking E.LEFAUCHEUX INV BREVETE on the left thunder is undoubtedly confirmation that this weapon indeed comes from the Manufacture d’Armes E.LEFAUCHEUX  in LIEGE quai de Fragnée, n° 13 from 1867 to 1873. Serial number 138756. The mark EL sous crown is the Eugène Lefaucheux brand intended for the Liège factory. ELG on star in an oval: final acceptance, in use from 1846 to 1893. N under crown: controller's countermark, in use from 1853 to 1877. In good condition. total length 29 cm.
