Round barrel, rifled, marked on the top: "Смита и Вессона оружейная фабрика T Спрингфильдъ Америка".
Six-chambered, hollowed-out barrel.
Downward hinged frame with collective extractor at toggle, punched with two arrows.
Carcass marked: "1874", finger rest.
All the parts with the same number: "7719" and punches of control: "A".
Two plates of stick out of wooden, with the number, ring of bélière.
The model number 3 was initially not accepted by the American army, Smith & Wesson thus took the decision to propose this revolver to the Russian army in full reorganization.
