Flat-bore barrel with rifled bore, flat-bore barrels with three registers and six fullers; glossy brown finish. Dovetail-mounted front sight. Signed on the upper panel "Inv. Gastinne Renette à Paris". Marked on the lower panel with its number 3547 and its year of manufacture 1886. Caliber 12mm.
Ghaye system: horizontally sliding barrel for reloading using the loading lever acting as a trigger guard.
Blazed breech tang, engraved with scrolling foliage. Lamella sight.
Flat-body front plate, blazed, engraved with scrolling foliage; signed Gastinne Renette.
Blazed steel counterplate, engraved en suite.
The lever trigger guard is bright blued steel and engraved en suite.
Selected walnut stock; finely checkered stock.
Oval cap, blazed and engraved en suite.
Mahogany case with a brass shield in the center (47 x 22).
Interior lined with blue felt, and signed in letters "Gastinne Renette Paris" gold medal. Complete with original accessories. Lock with key.
