Shotgun with juxtaposed round barrels, with long lateral thunder flats, tobacco finish, decorated in gold with radiating thunder suns
Barley grain sights set in the center of a radiating sun. Barrel mouths highlighted with a gold ring. Thunderbolt hallmarks on each barrel: JR crowned in an oval.
Screwed and engraved breech.
Flintlock locks with domed bodies, underlined all around; signed Lepage arquebusier du Roy à Paris. Round "swan-neck" grips engraved with foliage. Oval basins. Gold lights.
Walnut frame with short barrel. Cheek stock with original leather cushion, surrounded by a nailed silver filigree.
Fittings chased with foliage and vases; engraved with bundles of arms. Lightly engraved iron butt plate. Whalebone ramrod with brass tip.
