Barrel diameter: 15 mm

Rounded barrel with thirty-six rifling; monogrammed on the right side "MI" for Manufacture Impériale and dated "1859"; on the left side punched with an "L" and an "M", respectively with two stars in a lozenge.
Tailstock with frog.
Lock marked "Mre. Imp. De Châtellerault".
Iron fittings. Nailhead ramrod.
Walnut frame. Hinged spring cap.
Control marks.
