    Sixteen-stripe rear slide, notched for mounting a safety sight and factory-obstructed and stamped with the rearing horse. High-crested, marbled hammer.
    Marking on the left side of the slide: BROWNING'S PATENT COLT'S PATENT FIRE ARMS MFG. C° PATD APRIL 20. 1897 HARTFORD. CONN U. S. A. and numbered: 375;
    Marking on the right side slide: AUTOMATIC COLT CALIBER 38 RIMLESS SMOKELESS.
    Trigger guard stamped K.
    98% original glossy blue finish.
    Finely checkered walnut butt plates (Internal crack on one of them).
    Magazine marked PAT’D SEPT. 9.1894
