Steel and ivory
Length: 13cm – Caliber 8mm
Round, rifled barrel, numbered on the underside 4438; brass handlebars. Marked on the top GAULOIS. Engraved and silver finish
Silver frame - mechanically engraved, marked on top: Cal.8mm. As well as the brand of MANUFACTURE D’ARMES et CYCLES de SAINT-ETIENNE. The left side is marked SAFETY – FIRE – UNLOADING AND DISASSEMBLY; and on the right side MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D’ARMES DE SAINT-ETIENNE.
Marbled breech. Ivory handle, with the number 3419 (crack and small missing).
The number 4438 is found on the interior side of the carcass and the cover plate, with the initials P and T.
Good state of conservation.
Tan leather case with two compartments opening at each end. On one side for the pistol and the other for storing ammunition.
The mark of MANUFACTURE D’ARMES et CYCLES de SAINT-ETIENNE is embossed and gold.
Invention Etienne MIMARD and Pierre BLACHON founders of the French Manufacture of Arms and Cycles of Saint-Etienne.
