Octagonal barrel, half-moon front sight, tilting upwards; it is marked on the top: AMERICAN STANDARD TOOL Co. NEWARK N.J. and on the underside 34187 preceded by a star.
Ejector rod on the underside.
Smooth cylinder, with seven chambers and engraved with a combat scene with an Indian.
Closed frame; spur trigger tail.
Full mother-of-pearl butt plates.
This model offers a luxury finish, factory engraved with scrolls and friezes; nickel-plated and silver-plated.
Manufactured between 1869 and 1873
Good condition.
