The bed has disappeared, but we still have the antechamber resting on a floor (16cm high, 2.15m long and 83cm wide) and the two side jambs (208cm high) and the ceiling in black lacquered wood, as well as three finely worked openwork panels at the entrance to the bed.Made of light wood, decorated with numerous scenes featuring characters, soldiers, dancers, horses, warriors, musicians, courtesans, birds, foliage, horsemen, etc., inlaid with gems and beautiful gilding, this rare ensemble allows you to imagine the entrance to a toilet or dressing room in a dreamlike, refined universe.
Warm tones: vermilion-red lacquer, black lacquer and gold give this set a palatial atmosphere.
