    Description :
    Chased and gilded bronze.

These elegant sconces represent a canephorus woman in the antique style carrying two baskets filled with fruits which are the binnacles.
The woman is surmounted by a flying drape and dressed in a dress with very elaborate details ending in a branch of flowers.
The late sconces of this style are very rarely to the model and quality of the beautiful period lights except here, moreover even the finish on the back is rather that which was done in the early nineteenth, they were made at the very end of the nineteenth or early twentieth.
