I offer for sale this superb and rare pair of antique gilt bronze lamps from the Empire period in perfect condition. Each lamp features a vestal in the antique style, supporting a Medici vase that holds the electrical system. This style of torch was very fashionable under the Consulate and the First Empire.
The gilding is very fresh and the base is round. The electrification is new, as are the creamy-white cotton shades.
