Pierre Giraudon (1923-2012) is a French biologist who carries out the inclusion of plants, animals or others, under resin, for university purposes. Working in Canada in the 1940s, he returned to France in 1949 and began to work on his favorite material from an artistic point of view, for his pleasure. From the 1960s to the 1980s, he produced sculptures, lamp bases and objects in colored resin. Refusing the term artist, he considers himself above all as a biologist, even if he left us magnificent works of art very recognizable by their shapes and colors.
