Pair of lamps with slightly swollen belly in fine Satsuma earthenware mounted in gilded bronze. Decoration with a beige background representing geishas surrounded by dahlias in outdoor scenes framed at the bottom by a frieze of cells. Chased and gilded bronze frame with a circular base resting on four feet and decorated with scrolls and rosettes and a scalloped projection at the top.

Work carried out circa 1880.
