Pair of cracked porcelain lamps dating from the mid-19th century.
The double bulbous bodies are decorated with flowers and leaves in relief, on a celestial blue background, underlined by fancy black and gold motifs. The flared necks are topped with large bronze collars, decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves and foliage. These luminaries rest on tripod bases, with throat, decorated with small buds and plant elements.
The globes, made of opaque glass, are set with a brass border on the top and bottom.
The delicate color and the fineness of the ornaments of these lamps will easily be incorporated in a traditional or contemporary home.
