Here, the openwork shaft and the handles with Egyptian palmettes, elegantly finished with delicate swan heads, evoke the memory of the conquests and the ancient works discovered during archaeological excavations in Italy. The formal simplicity of these bronze lamps in perfect condition gives off an obvious modernity, very close to what will be done in the twentieth century with Art Deco.
