Superb pair of gilt bronze candlesticks, electrified, representing Italian Renaissance putti supporting cornucopias forming candle holders.
These cherubim represent the children of the god Bacchus. They look at each other sideways, lightly dressed in drapes and wear wreaths of vine leaves accompanied by bunches of grapes on their curly hair.
Each of these sculptures rests on a circular white marble base, surrounded by a garland of pearls in the pure Louis XVI style, supported by four elegant bronze feet.
