    This mid-18th-century silvered bronze torch has a baluster-shaped stem resting on a contoured foot, adorned with moldings and an umbilicus chased with stylized leaves. The worn silver plating reveals the yellow of the bronze, giving the piece an attractive patina. The electrification is new, but the lampshade, which has been on display in the store, is not impeccable.
