The double-ribbed swan-neck frame features two joints, one at the base and the other at the glassware claw.
The bronze foot is very stable, weighted down by a cast-iron disc that is firmly held in place.
The decoration on the foot, repeated three times, is typical of Art Nouveau. It is a motif of holly leaves and balls framed by an arabesque of foliage.
The ruffled tulip, in white glass paste, is supported by a delicately ribbed claw with scalloped edges.
Note the fine white porcelain finish of the wire outlet.
