Amsterdam School, 1900-1920. Very impressive and elegant openwork wooden table lamp.
The four-sided shade is covered with silk on the inside and decorated with a fine openwork design depicting a peacock on each side.
The openwork base and shade are typical of the Amsterdam School.
Entirely in very good used condition, with no missing parts, and a beautiful antique patina.
The lamp has been rewired with a new, antique-style textile cable.
Dutch, circa 1900-1920.
66 cm high, each shade panel is 29 cm wide, the maximum diameter of the shade is 40 cm, and the diameter of the base is 26 cm.
