Elegant, large Restoration-period gilt bronze chased and patinated chandelier with 9 lights in the form of an antique lamp.
The chandelier features its period mercury gilding and green patina in excellent condition.
The quality of the chasing and the very thick gilding testify to the care taken in its manufacture.
Decorated with palmettes, floral rosettes (eglantine?), raies-de-coeur, acanthus leaves, pine cones, gadroons...
The contrast between matte and glossy gilding highlights the relief of the chasing.

The chandelier is very discreetly and inconspicuously pierced for electrification.
