Ceiling lamp in the style of the Italian designer Gaetano Sciolari (born in 1927). Wood and chrome-plated metal structure,  with 5 arms decorated with Murano glass globes. Manufactured by Mazzega Glass Factory (1929-1983) in the 1970s. Good condition with light wear on the metal.

Mazzega Glass Factory is one of the Murano's glass factories created in 1929. Mazzega´s glassmakers and designers contributed to the diffusion of Murano glass in the 20 century throughout the world. This factory collaborated with several famous contemporary artists such as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Jean Cocteau and Georges Braque. It stopped its activity in 1983.
