<meta charset="UTF-8" />Rare suite of 4 Empire period candlesticks / torches and their wicks in solid silver. Double balluster model, the base adorned with acanthus leaves, they are columnar with a Corinthian capital at the top. They come complete with a removable wick to hold the crystal dish. Our candlesticks bear the 1er Coq hallmark, in use between 1803 and 1809, the poinçon de moyenne garantie, and the signature of the silversmith we have not yet identified.

A beautiful model with sober lines. Solid silver candlesticks are rare: we are used to finding pieces in silver-plated bronze rather than this precious material. A suite of 4 is exceptional and even rarer!

They are an incomparable addition to any festive table or bedroom.

Very good condition, slight deformations (clean, polished silver, no scratches, no monograms).
