Set of two Silver Metal Chalices with Light Arms.
Each of these Candlesticks is composed of a Central Cup, topping a generously but finely molded Shaft. The latter ends in a Circular base.
On either side, two eccentric Candleholders, with curved rims, complete these Atypical Decorative Objects.
The bases bear the hallmarks '18', indicating the amount of Silver used in the manufacture of these Candlesticks. For comparison, 18 grams is the weight needed to make 12 coffee spoons. A second mark, most probably representing a tree, is the signature of the manufacturer.
It should also be noted that these objects are entirely removable, to facilitate their cleaning.
These Goldsmith's Pieces, with their beautiful copper reflections, are relatively heavy, thus offering the guarantee of a good Stability, and consequently of a certain Safety. Result of an amazing marriage of Religious Vases and Candlesticks, they will embellish your moments of Intimacy for two, unless they illuminate the Head Table of a Festive Banquet.
