A very fine pair of richly chased ormolu candlesticks, the canted bollard adorned with lambrequins and underlined with acanthus leaves on a square-section baluster shaft, decorated with brackets with friezes of piasters, plant motifs, music or arts trophies and alternating male and female profiles, finished with a mollette decorated with scales and fine fluting, on a pedestal base with a scrolled edge, decorated with lambrequins, palmettes, scrolls, friezes of posts, friezes of oves, etc.
Work of the 19th century in the Régence style.
Very good condition.
