Architectecture Flambeau: stands on a very beautiful and elegant Round Base with rich foliage decoration and interlacing in relief, and with a fine contour of flat leaves, embellished with fine and numerous moldings on the whole, rises a shower foot with a laurel wreath ring where rises a superb shaft in the form of an Antique column with flutes and flats, with a bulbous base decorated with rich palmettes and oves and flowers, The top is in the form of a capital with an astragal and a corbel, ending in an abacus decorated with tight striations, where a pretty basin with acanthus leaves overflows, and ends in a beautiful Vase-shaped tap, richly decorated with a succession of acanthus leaves and palmettes and interlacing flowers, topped by a beautiful hollow removable candle holder decorated with ovals and a wide flat molding.

Condition report: in superb original condition, its magnificent mercury gilding with its alternating play of matte and brilliant and small guilloches denote very high quality craftsmanship and top-of-the-range Parisian workmanship. The fine, refined chasing lends it an air of elegance. Minimal traces of age and use.
