    Pair of candelabra from the Empire-Consulate period in patinated and gilded bronze in two-tone matt and shiny, representing winged sphinxes supporting a woven basket hollowed out with channels topped with a flaming lekythos.
    From it emerge three branches of light in the shape of stylized cornucopias and decorated with foliage.
    Conical base decorated with wall-mounted flower vases, resting on lion claws, the counter-base circular.

    Beautiful state of conservation, original mercury gilding (uncleaned).
    Old restorations, notably at the base of an arm of light.

    Empire-Consulate period, 1800-1810.
