Quintessence of neo-renaissance, these candlesticks have style! Borrowing from both the Italian Renaissance and its French counterpart, these two torches use a vocabulary of opulence that is reinforced by the use of gilded bronze. While binets and bobèches are full of fruit, the stem of each candlestick is supported by busts evoking Atlanteans and supported by a gilded guilloché ball. The whole thing rises on solid lion paws with protruding claws. The whole is in perfect condition.
