    This enchanting navette-shaped ring is centered on a mother-of-pearl plaque and surrounded by four amethysts alternating with four small white stones. Its baroque spirit evokes the Renaissance, the stones and mother-of-pearl are set in silver, the band and support are in gold, and its marquise shape is flattering for the hand it lengthens. It dates from the mid-19th century and is probably of Austro-Hungarian origin. One of the amethysts is darker and we think it may have been replaced. The ring is slightly deformed.
