This necklace, accompanied by a matching pair of earrings, is made of large balls of cinnabar lacquer threaded onto a red braided cord. The beads are hand-carved with kousa leaves and flowers. The earrings hang from the end of a small gilded metal chain, adorned with a leaf and a bunch of grapes. The necklace has a brass screw clasp, the smallest pearl measures 1.2 cm and the largest 2.5 cm.
Necklace length 49 cm.
Earring height 6.6 cm, each pearl measures 2.3 cm in diameter.
Origin China.
