Art-Nouveau period pendant in 800 silver by designer Karl KARST. Circa 1910-1920
Openwork design inspired by the Austrian Secession school, the Wiener Werkstätte, known for its avant-garde creations.
Closely related to the work of Theodor Fahrner
The delicate motif of the silver pendant is a stylized foliage design embossed, chased and hammered, enclosing a green faceted semi-precious stone.
Marked on the back with KARST. 800.
In good original condition, needs cleaning.
4 x 3.6 cm without setting.
