AGE FAUSING (1938-2007)

Age Fausing is a Danish jewelry brand founded by Åge Fausing in 1972. Åge Fausing was born in 1938 and became interested in jewelry from an early age. He trained as a goldsmith and started working for Georg Jensen, the famous Danish goldsmith, in 1958. After working for Georg Jensen for several years, Fausing decided to start his own jewelry business. He founded Åge Fausing Jewelry in 1972 and quickly gained a reputation for his innovative designs and use of unusual materials. Fausing's designs were inspired by the natural world and he often incorporated organic shapes and textures into his work. In the early years of the business, Åge Fausing Jewelry mainly sold its products in Denmark. However, as the brand gained recognition and popularity, it began to expand internationally. By the 1980s, Age Fausing Jewelry had become a well-known brand throughout Europe and had a growing presence in the United States. Fausing continued to lead the company for several decades, working closely with his team of designers to create new collections each year. In 2007, at the age of 69, Fausing died. However, his legacy lives on through the company he founded. Today, Åge Fausing Jewelry is still based in Denmark and continues to create beautiful and innovative jewelry inspired by nature and crafted with the highest level of skill and craftsmanship.

REY URBAN (1929 -2015)

Rey Urban was born in Sweden on September 14, 1929. He was a goldsmith and designer. Urban founded the company Silversmeden Rey Urban in 1950, while training at the College of Arts in Stockholm. Urban earned his master's degree in 1955 and has created both practical and useful jewelry that combines craftsmanship with contemporary techniques. Over the years Rey Urban has had many exhibitions abroad and in Sweden.

The collaboration of the two designers FAUSING and URBAN lasted only 2 years.
From this period were born rare and highly sought-after masterpieces, including our necklace.
