    This very large circular deep dish is decorated in the center with flowering foliage, painted in blue on a white background, imitating the decorations on Chinese porcelain brought to Europe by the Compagnie des Indes. On the wing, four floral reserves are set against a trellis background. A wide blue fillet borders the end of the wing and a frieze of geometric motifs encircles the bottom of the dish.
    A similar model is kept at the Musée de Sèvres.
    In excellent overall condition, it nevertheless has one or two enamel chips around the rim.
    Late 17th century.
