    Large Imperial Japan Meiji perfume burner (1868-1912) decorated with characters in traditional costumes finely painted and highlighted with gold, geisha and samurai. The two side grips of the vase and that of the openwork dome lid are in the shape of Fô dogs. Or rather, for the Japanese, as Komainu guardian lion, symbol of wealth or high social statue.
