    but the technique, origin and history of these tiles are to be discovered with each new find.
    our two tiles, one with the name L. DEBAECKER , son-in-law of Charlotte Vogt, a famous stove manufacturer, became owner of the Manufacture in 1878 and closed it in 1919. He also took over the Dumas factory on rue de la Fontaine-au-roi, where Théodore Deck was foreman...his biography can be found in the excellent book Faiences et porcelaine de Paris.
