This barbotine dish is from the 19th century. It was probably made by Thomas Victor Sergent. It is a Palissy barbotine trompe-l'oeil dish. It is beautifully made, the colors have remained fresh.
It is in superb general condition, note, for the most picky, some jumps on the large shells, a small crack on the tail of the lizard, a small jump on the hind leg and the frog and one on the side.
Our photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object.
