Rare and exceptional service, one of the most beautiful successes of the faience factory of Sarreguemines during its apogee
The decoration bears the name of the Duke of Montmorency-Luxembourg who received at the beginning of the 18th century a service decorated with the arms of his family, a production of Guillibaud in Rouen (1720-1749). Sarreguemines was greatly inspired by this service to create this one.
