This is a very nice English (possibly Liverpool) plate measuring 24 cms in diameter. It has been decorated, in Chinoiserie style, with the Long Eliza pattern. There is an impressed mark to the base which I have been unable to identify, however marks like this did occur on similar pieces from this era.
There is a fine crackle and a cobalt tinge to the glaze as one expects to see on old pearlware. The plate has some wear in the form of scratches, mainly to the central area, and some fritting/flea bites to the edge. The foot rim has two small chips exposing the earthenware and in the final photo you can see a tiny hairline. I haven't been able to photograph every single scratch or flea bite etc but if you would like more photos of a particular area, please get in touch.
Personally, I think this is a very nice example of its type. It dates to around 1780/90 and is in pretty good condition for its age. It weighs about 379 g.
