Magnificent Art-Deco vase in glazed ceramic, designed by Louis Dage, with a meticulous silver-plated bronze frame by EugèneVal. This 1930s vase perfectly embodies the criteria of Art-Deco, in its motifs, form and the quality of the bronze used. A highly decorative and rare piece, in perfect condition.

Louis Dage, initially based in Antony (Paris region), went into partnership with Jean de la Fontinelle, then with EugèneVal. He later left Antony to settle in Saint-Sever in the Landes region. In 1924, he was crowned Meilleur Ouvrier de France and, in the early 1930s, he helped decorate the Normandie ocean liner.
